Well-functioning health services are an essential element in the struggle to break the cycle of poverty, high fertility, poor health, and low economic growth. Many countries in the world are faced with a gap between what they can pay and what they would like to provide in the health sector and have embarked on health sector reforms to close this gap.
We help clients identify, formulate, design, appraise, monitor and evaluate health programmes and projects. On behalf of donor agencies, we assist in the implementation of health programmes and projects at primary, secondary and tertiary levels in developing countries and in countries in transition.
Our work involves all phases of health sector development and includes feasibility studies, project and programme design, the appraisal of programme proposals, the elaboration of programme documents, the planning of health sector support programmes, and health policy development, reviews and evaluations
We work in the following fields:
- Health sector reform
- Health sector programme design based on a Sector Wide Approach
- Health services planning and management
- Disease control programmes
- HIV/AIDS prevention projects
- Health care infrastructure planning and design
