	Environmental Impact Assessment Grontmij | Carl Bro undertakes the full Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) procedure for both single and large-scale wind farms – onshore as well as offshore. Our procedures for reporting to EIA for onshore turbines in Denmark prepared for The Danish Energy Authority sets the precedent. This manual is in accordance with EU’s Directive and OECD’s/World Bank’s recommendations. We conduct terrestrial and aquatic biological studies in order to analyse, survey and monitor flora and fauna. Grontmij | Carl Bro has a got leading expertise in ornithological investigations, the impacts on fish and evaluation of noise and shadow flicker. We also hold specialised knowledge on modelling and evaluation of impact of all hydraulic aspects incl. general impact on current flow and spill from construction works. Noise and Vibration Issues Grontmij | Carl Bro conduct noise prediction calculations, verifying measurements and noise declarations in accordance with international standards. Based on years of practical experience, we have developed a dedicated system for the measurement and analysis of wind turbine noise, including (the) tonality phenomena.
