An effective managed water supply network is a necessary condition to guarantee delivery of safe and reliable water to domestic and industrial customers, especially for urban communities. In developing countries, water supply networks are often poorly maintained which leads to poor quality water delivered to customers. In more developed countries, leakage is a common problem, sometimes exceeding 50% of production. Based on our extensive international experience, a broad range of skills is required in order to identify and solve water supply network problems covering village level, rural water supply systems up to high technology systems for major industrial centres.
If you have a need for consultancy support concerning the development of water supply networks, we can provide specialist services in the following areas:
- Project cycle management.
- Project preparation, incl. infrastructure master planning, feasibility studies for new networks, extension and renovation planning, network modeling, GIS and digitization, design and tender documentation, and construction supervision.
- Institutional issues, incl. business and investment planning, legal framework, technical and financial due diligence, organizational and HRD planning, training implementation, procedures manuals, financial and accounting systems.
- Operations, incl. operation and maintenance planning, O&M manuals, pressure management techniques, asset management, pump station and pipework inventories, disinfection and health studies, GIS and IT systems.
