CLIMATE CONCEPT FOR THE MUNICIPALITY OF COPENHAGEN	15/05/2008
	Grontmij | Carl Bro is to create a climate concept for the municipality of Copenhagen, which is supposed to put the climate issue on the agenda at the companies of the municipality. The basis of the project is a desire to motivate the companies in the municipality of Copenhagen to work more intently on CO2 and accept responsibility for the climate policy. This is for example to be achieved on the basis of a climate strategy guide. Copenhagen as environmental metropolis With the climate strategy guide, the municipality of Copenhagen wants to create a more environmentally conscious city. Furthermore, Copenhagen is going to be host of the Climate Summit in 2009, and the municipality hopes to be able to market the city as an environmental metropolis with a demonstration of a number of initiatives and results. The climate strategy In cooperation with the municipality of Copenhagen, Grontmij | Carl Bro is preparing a strategy for the companies that shows how the set goals can be achieved, which stakeholders that should be involved, and which timeframes and financial frames that should be established.
