ETHIOPIA, INDEPENDENT PROCUREMENT REVIEW	11/10/2005
	Grontmij | Carl Bro was recently contracted by the World Bank to undertake an independent procurement review of Bank projects in Ethiopia. Our team of 3 procurement specialists reviews and audits procurement procedures and capacity within implementing agencies under selected loans.Through a combination of examination of procurement and contract documents, together with visits to implementation agencies and project sites to assess the quality of goods, works and/or services supplied by contractors, our team aims at providing the Bank with a valuable insight into the relative standards, efficiency and effectiveness of the procurement processes. The team will also point out to practical recommendations to optimize the overall success of future projects which are dependent upon implementation of good procurement practices.
