RWANDA: TOURISM STATISTICS AND SATELLITE ACCOUNTS	09/10/2007
	The Rwanda Tourism and National Parks Board applying World Bank funding, have recently contracted Grontmij | Carl Bro in association with ACORN to help the Tourism Board setting up a system and database for the collection of national tourism statistics to make it possible to determine the economic contribution of the tourism sector to the Rwandan economy. Based on these information systems we will establish an experimental Tourism Satellite System (TSA) following the guidelines set out by the World Tourism Organization and others in preparation for implementation of a full TSA. The project will eventually facilitate Rwanda will an well established tourism information system and lay the ground for establishing a full TSA system. The project is headed by Mr. Jan-Bjarni Bjarnason.
