Danish Petrochemical Industry Environmental Fund: Investigation & remediation of more than 650 former petrol stations, most in campaigns of up to 136 stations at a time. Risk assessment at all sites, monitoring for up to 7 years at some sites. Extensive long term data collecting and reporting systems.
Q8: Major refinery in sensitive surroundings – investigations, ground water monitoring and modelling of 40 km2 area, phytoremediation of contamination plume, risk assessment of ground water and marine recipient.
Statoil: 15 years of monitoring of a 780,000 l oil spill at major oil shipping yard. Many minor cases.
Counties: Soil/in-door climate - investigation and registration of more than 50 dry cleaning sites. Historical investigation and registration of several thousand contaminated sites. Ground water - 3 counties were modelled and monitored covering a total of 11,800 km2. Investigation of 3.5 km long TCE plume under town of 10,000 people, in-situ remediation of hot-spot.
