CZECH REPUBLIC, COMPLETION OF THE WATER MANAGEMENT INFRASTRUCTURE OF PRAGUE. 2000-2001.

The Czech Republic has identified the project as a measure to be financed by ISPA to facilitate compliance with the European Commission's Environmental Directives as part of the Czech Republic's accession to the European Union.
The project involves:
Extension of Sewerage, with the objective of sewering the outlying villages of Slivenec, Reproyje, Radotin, Zbraslav, Kunratice, Cakovice, Dolni Mechulopy, Uhrineves, Komorany and Ujezd and connecting these to the municipal collection system conveying wastewater to the Central Wastewater Treatment Plant. The connection of Komorany involves the extension of one of the main City collector sewers. The water supply system to Radotin will also be extended.
Services:
- Review existing feasibility studies and completion of feasibility study meeting EU standards.
- Preparation of ISPA funding application form
- Preparation of Procurement Plan
- Review of existing design criteria and designs of sewerage and water supply extensions by local consultants and check for compliance with EC requirements
- Preparation of contractual sections of tender dossiers
- Initial environmental examination (IEE) in accordance with the relevant EU directive
- Review cost estimates including operating and maintenance costs
- Financial and economic analysis and tariff study for the Project
- Review of institutional arrangements of the Municipality and Water Company for implementing the Project
