At Grontmij | Carl Bro we want to create value and opportunities for our employees and the company itself. We do this by continuously developing our employees throughout their time with the company.

Below are some of the development paths available at Grontmij | Carl Bro:





Challenging work tasks

Employees largely develop by working on new, challenging and varied projects.

Management development

At Grontmij | Carl Bro, management development is a key tool in realising the company’s goals. We see management development as a combination of training in the company’s processes and systems, and the development of personal resources.

Coaching-based development sessions

Employee development sessions highlight any further training needs for the individual, and provide a forum for discussing future development initiatives and career requirements. The sessions give managers and employees the chance to talk through matters of shared interest, including co-operation and the atmosphere in that particular department.

We are currently developing our employee development sessions into coaching-based sessions. Coaching is a good way of bringing each employees potential and motivation into focus, and ensuring that employees and the business produces results even quicker.

Networks

Knowledge exchange in interdisciplinary networks is a pivotal element in our development. For this reason, Grontmij | Carl Bro facilitates both formal and informal networks. Formal networks include one in which employees coach each other based on the present challenges facing the individual. The more informal include Grontmij | Carl Bro’s many sporting activities, the art society and the Friday Bar, all of which bring employees from across the organisation together.

Education/training courses

We invest in education and training courses. The way we see it, this creates value both for the employee and the company. Our employees are trained in specific areas of expertise, project management, sales and coaching-based leadership, and much more.
