MELTING ICEBERG ON BRIGHT GREEN

A two-metre high iceberg, weighing 3.5 ton is the centrepiece of Grontmij | Carl Bro's stand at Bright Green. The melting iceberg is intended as a symbol of the urgent need for action within the climate field.

On Saturday the 12th of December at 12:15 on Bright Green Expo, stand 51 Forum – Julius Thomsens Plads 1 – Frederiksberg C
Also, the iceberg represents an illustration of the main theme of the Grontmij | Carl Bro exhibition on Bright Green: Water.
Rising of water levels, increased precipitation, flooding and the lack of clean drinking water all constitute serious issues arisen as a consequence of the climate changes. In the years to come, these problems will become increasingly urgent. This is why Grontmij | Carl Bro has decided to put sustainable solutions within water and energy on the agenda.
Under the heading ”Oceans of bold solutions for a blue planet”, the Grontmij | Carl Bro stand will present 48 innovative and challenging bids for solutions to the world's climate challenges.
Photo opportunities and interviews, Saturday the 12th of December
- 9:30-18:00: Opportunity to take pictures of the iceberg and interview the Grontmij | Carl Bro team of international climate advisors from e.g. the UK, the Netherlands, Sweden and Denmark.
- 12:15-13:00: Ambassador of the Netherlands to Denmark, Mr Niek van Zutphen, will make a brief presentation. The Dutch senior management of the Grontmij | Carl Bro group will be represented by CEO Sylvo Thijsen who will be present together with CEO Birgit Nørgaard, representing the Danish branch of Grontmij | Carl Bro, and executives from 50 companies.
